How Rare Is It on the Road Trip Game?

Uncommon. Colorado has a growing population and is a major destination for outdoor tourism, so its plates travel well — but it's still a mountain state, and you won't see them as often as coastal giants like California or Florida.

I-70 through Denver and into the Rockies is your best bet — it's the main artery for Colorado residents and a favorite route for road trippers heading to ski resorts and national parks. Rest stops on I-25 along the Front Range are also productive.
