Road Trip License Plate Game

Arkansas License Plate

Plate Design

Arkansas license plate: blue-to-white gradient background with a faint diamond watermark behind the plate numbers

The current Arkansas plate fades from blue at the top to white at the bottom, with "Arkansas" lettered in red script across the top and a faint diamond watermark behind the plate numbers — a nod to Crater of Diamonds State Park, one of the only public diamond-mining sites in the world. "The Natural State" runs across the bottom.

How Rare Is It on the Road Trip Game?

Uncommon. Arkansas has a modest population and isn't directly on most coast-to-coast interstate routes, so it takes a bit more effort to spot than its neighbors.

Spotting Tip

Interstate 40 through Little Rock, which connects Memphis to Oklahoma City, is the most reliable through-route for catching an Arkansas plate.

Fun Fact

Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas is the only diamond site in the world where the public can dig and keep what they find.
