The current Arkansas plate fades from blue at the top to white at the bottom, with "Arkansas" lettered in red script across the top and a faint diamond watermark behind the plate numbers — a nod to Crater of Diamonds State Park, one of the only public diamond-mining sites in the world. "The Natural State" runs across the bottom.

How Rare Is It on the Road Trip Game?

Uncommon. Arkansas has a modest population and isn't directly on most coast-to-coast interstate routes, so it takes a bit more effort to spot than its neighbors.

Spotting Tip

Interstate 40 through Little Rock, which connects Memphis to Oklahoma City, is the most reliable through-route for catching an Arkansas plate.
